hey david -- your pic is a bit dark on my screen. is it a pic of lilly's in a bouquet? would you mind explaining the pic and the post to me? :-)

Now, if I were a clown (which could be debated), I'd like those flowers...seein' how it's a carnival and all...

ahhh yes. I see the clown or is it flowers upside down :)
Guess it depends on your point of view!

david, sort of said...

Jessie - I changed it to make it as light as I could. . . but I think it might still be too dark. the picture is of flowers that we have growing in the garden. I do not know the types. I took the picture I posted yesterday and added a bunch of color to it. It looked like clown make-up so I called the picture a carnival of carnivals. . .

Grace - yes. That was the first time I'd done that. It might be the last. I'm not sure yet.

Holly - the flowers are clowns! You got that right.

Robin - it's the upside down flowers, upside down, done up in clown colors. . . If I knew how, I'd get rid of the flowers next time and just leave the clown make-up. . . it would be like the cheshire cat.

okay. i thought you had mixed it up some w/photoshop or something. on photoshop there is an eraser if messing w/the lighting doesn't give you the desired effect. of course you can also just trace around the parts that you like, cut, and paste into a different window and work it out from there. but you probably already know all that ... :-)

Jessie - actually - I have no idea how to use photoshop. . . I was fooling around with the image in photobucket and that's when they started to send in the clowns. someday I want to learn to use photoshop but it won't be soon. I've wanted to use it to create some compositions that I can 'see' but that I have not yet been able to make. Thanks for commenting.
