skywatchfriday At the Window i love your winsome expression, your way of living without compromise, your willingness to know me as i am, letting me see that everywhere i've been in the world, it was your light that i always saw at the window.
Your sky is so pastel, soft and gentle; the polar opposite of the piercing blue sky we posted today. So much diversity this week in SWF. I'm glad I have the day off to enjoy this tour!
Sylvia - you're welcome. Actually I thank you for the kind words.
J Bar - thank you. I loved your views of Sydney - especially the olympic venues.
Carletta - thank you. I've always liked those 2 words - only sky - as if the sky could be an 'only.' My child bought a john lennon (from yellow submarine) toy the other day. You may see a photo of John soon.
Guy - thank you. You have a good weekend too!
Robin - thank you.
Charity - I am sure that someone thinks this of you. I was getting sort of tired of the chaos and disappointment that I usually write about. So - I tried to capture my true outlook which is really optimistic. It was hard - I really like to write about when people are being kind of shabby to each other. . . it makes them so much more interesting to me. I always want to know WHY she won't spoon-feed his daydreams to him.
GDP - Thank you. Your photo was like a cannon shot - awesome. Glad you liked this one.
Suz - thank you. We've been married almost 27 years. It's an amazing thing. My wife doesn't read my blogs. Maybe someday someone who does read them will meet her and say - hey - that was a pretty cool poem he wrote about you. . . Thanks for your comments.
Inky - thank you. Finding someone who is willing to know us as we are - is a gift. (next week we'll be in nova scotia - a little closer to you - but still very far away. Thanks for visiting and for your comment.
Regina - why thank you.
Holly - thank you too. Yes, it is one of those throwtographs. I thought it was a nice one for skywatch friday. I loved how the sky seemed to cascade over the trees. We - Jilly and I - were over on the road we call Surf Lane when we took the throwtograph - your ocean analogy is quite apt.

...simply beautiful.
Koe... somehow... this feels intertwined with my poetry...I can feel this as if it is my own/was meant for me/someone thinks this of me... :)

WOW!! what a lovely spiritual piece to uplift me on this up coming weekend.. TY.
Wouldn't the world be a happier place if we all truly allowed each other to find out who we truly are on the inside.
Have a great weekend
Amazing sky and poem.
What a beautiful sky, David! It almost looks as though it could be the ocean...a whirlpool in the ocean, rather.
Hey, is this one of those throwtographs?
Very nice effects in this capture.
oh yeah!
